Over our long history, the Katz name has been synonymous with leadership in the media industry. Founded in 1888, Katz was the nation's first media representation firm. Today, Katz Media Group is comprised of two divisions, Katz Radio Group and Katz Television Group. Collectively, the company represents both the on-air and online assets of more than 4,000 radio stations and 800 television stations, making Katz Media Group the largest media representation company in America.

Mark Gray
Chief Executive Officer, Katz Media Group
Mark Gray is Chief Executive Officer of Katz Media Group, the leading national expert in audio and television advertising solutions.
Mark has been a leader in the media industry for more than 25 years, building a first-class media sales organization that delivers results for its broadcast partners and the nation’s top brands.
As CEO, Mark oversees both Katz’s radio and television companies. His primary focus is to lead Katz’s team of industry experts to deliver innovative ideas for advertisers and agencies, driving revenue for Katz’s partners, as well as developing Katz’s technology and digital offerings, including bringing Katz to the forefront of the programmatic buying arena.
Mark’s tenure with Katz has included various management roles, including President of the Katz Radio division before being promoted to President of Katz Radio Group in 2006.
Radio Ink has named Mark one of the “Most Powerful People in Radio.” He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Broadcasters Foundation of America; a board member of the Radio Advertising Bureau; and an Honorary Trustee for the Alliance for Women in Media.
Leo MacCourtney
President, Katz Television Group
Leo MacCourtney is President of Katz Television Group, the nation’s leading television representation company, connecting marketers with local audiences at scale and with impact.
In his role as President, Leo oversees Katz’s strategic sales direction to drive growth for its more than 800 television station partners and their digital extensions across over 196 markets. Under Leo’s leadership, the Katz team focuses on strengthening advertiser relationships, advocating for local broadcast television and driving linear and digital TV business development.
Leo’s extensive background in media advertising began when he joined WERE radio in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1981, Leo left radio to join Blair Television as an account executive. During his tenure at Blair Television, Leo held various sales management roles, including Team Manager, Division Manager, and Division President. He was promoted to President and CEO of Blair Television in 1998, a position he held for nine years. In 2007, Leo joined Katz Television Group as Vice President of Business Development. He became President of Eagle Television Sales in 2008. In March of 2012, Leo was appointed to his current role as President of the Katz Television Group.
Leo is currently Chairman of the International Radio & Television Society Foundation. He also serves on the board of the Washington Media Scholars Foundation and is the Treasurer for the Broadcasters Foundation of America. He is Chairman Ex-Officio of the Television Bureau of Advertising, where has been a board member since 2005 and has served as its treasurer.
Christine Travaglini
President, Katz Radio Group
Christine Travaglini is President of Katz Radio Group.
As President, Christine drives overall business development and strategy of Katz Radio Group’s 14 regional offices across the country that together serve as the national sales partner to more than 3,300 radio stations and their digital audio platforms. Christine leads the Katz team in driving maximum results for broadcasters and their advertisers through radio advocacy, innovative marketing solutions, and compelling data and insights.
Since 2008, Christine served as President of Christal Radio, a division within Katz. Prior to that she served as Senior Vice President and General Sales Manager for Christal, a post she held for five years.
In 2013, Christine was also named President of Katz Partnerships, the business development team focused on deepening relationships with agencies, and leveraging all of Katz’s partner’s broadcast and digital assets to develop innovative solutions for today’s big brands. Under her leadership, the Katz Partnerships team has developed and influenced millions of dollars for Katz broadcast clients providing first-to-market ideas and advertiser-focused audio solutions.
Christine began her career with Katz as a sales assistant in the Atlanta office, and was the first person to rise from an assistant to a division president within the organization.
Radio Ink has named Christine one of the “Most Influential Women in Radio” since 2005. She has served on the National Board of Directors and is currently the Chair for the Alliance for Women in Media. Christine is an executive board member of the Radio Advertising Bureau; a board member of the IRTS; and an active speaker and panelist at industry events.
Craig Broitman
Chief Operating Officer, Katz Television Group
Craig Broitman is Chief Operating Officer of Katz Television Group, the nation’s leading television representation company.
As a 30-year veteran in the media business, Craig brings an unsurpassed background in television advertising. In his role as COO, Craig oversees all four divisions' day-to-day operations, to drive growth for advertisers, agencies and all Katz clients. Craig leads ad sales operations, agency and broadcaster connectivity, sales training and heads the development of the company's digital capabilities.
Craig started his media career at WCBS TV as a Sales Promotion Manager and Research Analyst. Craig joined Katz Television Group in 1986 as a Sales Trainee. During his time with the company, Craig has held various management roles of increasing responsibility in both the New York and Chicago offices, including Team Manager, Director of Sales and Executive Vice President. In 2002, Craig became President of Millennium Sales and Marketing, a position he held for 10 years. Craig was then promoted in 2012 to Chief Operating Officer of Katz Television Group.
Craig is currently a board member of TVB, the television station marketing association, as well as a past chair to its National Sales Advisory Committee and former member of the Executive Board.
Joe Brewer
EVP, Chief Operating Officer, Katz Media Group
Joe brings more than 30 years of media and technology experience to lead the company’s programmatic, data and technology initiatives.
In his role, Joe focuses on business operations across Katz Radio Group, Katz Television Group and Katz Digital with the goal of streamlining company processes and aligning all technology and innovation initiatives with company goals. Joe also provides oversight and guidance to Katz corporate groups including Finance, Human Resources and Real Estate to help move Katz’s continuously expanding business forward.
Joe joined Katz in May 1996 as Vice President of Information Technology Services, and has since held leadership roles, such as Vice President of Client Services, and Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. During his tenure, he has expanded and enhanced Katz offerings, increased efficiencies and helped to develop additional revenue streams for the company.
Most recently serving as Chief Administrative Officer, Joe worked to further develop the company’s technology assets across radio and television and advance its digital offerings, including bringing Katz to the forefront of the programmatic buying arena. Joe has also led significant advancements in Katz’s data initiatives, which have dramatically reduced discrepancies and improved the buying process for agencies and advertisers.
Joe serves on the Board of Directors for Audiology (www.Audiology.media), a company created to promote programmatic sales in the digital audio marketplace.
