Katz Media Group Promotes Rick Ramos to Executive Vice President of Multicultural Partnerships

Longtime Media Executive Will Continue to Lead Advocacy and Strategy to Maximize Sales of Katz Partners’ Multicultural Radio Offerings Nationwide 

New York, NY – September 7, 2022 – Katz Media Group, the nation’s largest media representation organization, announced today that Rick Ramos has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Katz Multicultural Partnerships, effective immediately.  Ramos will continue to report to Tucker Flood, President of Eastman Radio at Katz Radio Group.

In his expanded role, Ramos will continue to oversee the creation of dynamic multicultural marketing campaigns across all of Katz’s audio partners.  Katz Multicultural delivers advertisers access to 96% of the Multicultural audio marketplace in one stop.  Ramos will also continue to lead advocacy efforts for multicultural advertising and further strengthen relationships with marketers and agencies.

With more than 25 years of media sales experience, Ramos has worked with many of the top broadcast radio companies that provide information, entertainment, and content for the Hispanic audience, such as Univision Radio, Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation (HBC), Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), and Tichenor Broadcasting.  His extensive career includes New York Sales Manager of Katz Hispanic Media; Vice President Regional Sales Manager of HBC National Sales; Vice President of Univision National Sales; SVP, Director of Sales for Business Development at Eastman Radio; and most recently, SVP of Multicultural Sales for Katz.  

Ramos is the winner of the Medallas de Cortez Award for Marketer of the Year, honoring his excellence in all areas of Hispanic Radio.  He is also a member of the Hispanic Audio Alliances and RAB Multicultural Committee.
