Highly Respected Katz Radio Group President Elevated to Oversee Both Katz Radio and Television Companies
New York, NY – March 9, 2017 –Katz Media Group, the leading national expert in audio and television advertising solutions, announced today it hasnamed highly respected media executive Mark Gray, to the position ofChief Executive Officer of Katz Media Group,overseeing both Katz’s radio and television companies.
Gray, who most recently served as President of Katz Radio Group, has been a leader in the media industry for more than 25 years, focused on building a first-class media sales organization that delivers results for its broadcast partners and the nation’s top brands.
In his new role as CEO, Gray will lead the Katz team of radio and television industry experts to deliver innovative ideas for advertisers and agencies, and drive revenue and operational results for Katz’s partners. He will also further develop Katz’s technology and digital offerings, including bringing Katz to the forefront of the programmatic buying arena through Expressway from Katz, the first industry-wide programmatic ad buying exchange for broadcast radio.

Gray’s tenure with Katz has included various management roles, including President of the Katz Radio division before being promoted to President of Katz Radio Group in 2006.Gray is a member of the Board of Directors for the Broadcasters Foundation of America; a member of the Radio Advertising Bureau’s Executive Committee; and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Alliance for Women in Media.
Gray replaces Mark Rosenthal as CEO. After nearly four years with the company, Rosenthal announced his decision to step down as CEO of Katz Media Group at the end of March. Rosenthal will continue as an advisor to Bressler and iHeartMedia, Inc. CEO Bob Pittman.
